For about 3 weeks I was running with a pain in my left foot. Finally Anat decide to diagnose the problem and after consulting with Dr. Google the conclusion was that I fractured my bone. To be more precise the medical term for my alleged fracture is “metatarsal stress fracture”. Following further evaluation we were certain that this was indeed the problem and decided to prescribe my own therapy which included icing, rest, and a short retirement from running (NOT). Our very own candle holder (aka Raanan) decided that we should not play doctor/patient and sent me urgently to the care the magician (aka Adam). The very next day I said hello to our favorite therapist who by now should have been a very rich man considering our contributions. While casually working on another patient Adam asked me a few questions and with his calming charm decided that it not metatarsal stress fracture….. Anat’s worries were gone and we could resume a normal relationship as for a while she was considering someone who is not so fragile. So after some electric therapy, ultrasound, massage therapy (watch the video), stretching, bubble bath, etc… I am back in the game full speed ahead. Total 2 visits and a down payment on Adams new bike
In this video you can tell how focused (or bored) Adam is on my injury. Be patient it gets interesting toward the end.
Let me know shall you have the need for magic.
Happy end?
This from the guy who said “In Taekwondo we learn not to show that we are in pain so I guess thats why it looks like running is so easy for me”* or the famous one “I’m a light runner. See? You can’t hear my feet but listen to yours”*. Well, with all your “light running” and mind games, you are commited to a physical therapist and your ice packs… and guess who isn’t …
*More or less what you said
* not what I said… perhaps I’ll repeat it with a thicker accent during our next run.
The light runner was a complement from your coach.
shall we discuss the habbits of the “who isn’t”?
Gadol…
I know this look Adam has while working on you (“with this guy training for an ironman, i can plan on upgrading my car this summer”
