Time for my two cents…
After weeks of impulsive decision making and gut clenching uncertainty, here we are; signed up for our first Ironman. We are just three people (two plus one) training for what is going to be the most grueling and character defining day of our lives. Some of us have been training for three years like me , and some for three months, like them. Together we plan on kicking everyone’s 
and we’re not taking any 
!
If you arrived at this blog you are obviuosly looking for something inspiring. You might get that here… but you probably won’t. Inspiring yourself is one thing, but to inspire another is something all together different. What we will try to do is post as many photos and updates about our training and probably vent some frustration just to make it interesting. Here is some info about us and our relationships in chronological order.
1. Raanan is Tamirs brother in law
2. Raanan ran the NYC marathon
3. Raanan and Tamir ran the Tel-Aviv marathon
4, Raanan, Tamir and Anat did the Tel-Aviv triathlon but Anat didn’t know them yet
5. Tamir signed up for the NYC marathon
6. Anat signed up for the NYC marathon
7. Tamir met Anat
8. Anat met Raanan
9. Raanan, Tamir and Anat did the Cesarea triathlon and this time, we all knew each other
10. Anat moved in with Tamir
11. Anat and Tamir ran the NYC marathon
12. Anat , Tamir and Raanan, signed up for the Brazil Ironman
If this were an opera, the rest would look like this :
13. Anat gets injured and can’t race the Ironman
14. Anat puts poison in her sports nutrition drink before the ride because she can’t bare the thought of not racing.
15. Raanan , borrows her bottle and drinks the poison
16. Raanan dies in Tamirs arms but they forget to move to the shoulder of the road.
17. Raanan and Tamir get run over by cars driven by their parents.
18. Tamirs parents think its Anat’s fault and shoot her at the finishline of the Israman.
Good thing this isn’t an opera.
So… who is the third wheel?

after my smile faded I couldn’t help myself thinking that such writing may be seem in retrospect as hard core warning signs in homicide reports “all the signs were there”…
my conclusion is clear: if you get injured (hamsa hamsa melach ma’im), we’ll need to lebazbez you on the spot
Well , I know what the Fox headline would be. Instead of the usual “Television violence leads to …” they would say “OPERA violence leads to…”. That might lead to a new, cool video game where you the goal is to increase your tragedy level to the max. You get to choose the relationships of your characters and then choose actions that will lead to betrayal, love, hatred , etc… I would buy it…
the end of the story sound more like “brokeback mountain”…
